1. Product Policy
Pricing
The prices listed on the French Living web site are current at the time at which they are displayed and are subject to change at our discretion.
Product Availability
Many of the items we sell are only available to us in limited quantities. We do however, update our web site to reflect out of stock conditions, but it is possible that an item you purchase at the French Living store is on order. In the event one or more products you have ordered are temporarily unavailable, the French Living store will contact you to obtain authorisation to ship the currently available product(s) and cancel the remainder of your order. We also reserve the right to supply products that are identical to the product advertised but are from a different producer. Our products are subject to availability due to weather and seasonal variations. French Living reserves the right to make changes to its pricing to reflect changes in market supply. We endeavour to make the customer aware of any changes as soon as it is possible.
2. Shipping Rates & Policy
The postage and packing cost for UK deliveries is a flat rate of £5. For deliveries outside the UK, we will inform you of the delivery cost and obtain your authorisation before your payment card is charged and goods are despatched. Please note all delivery times are estimated times provided by Royal Mail.
Non Registered shipping. We cannot accept liability for any items lost or damaged in transit as we are not always able to trace item(s).
Cross Border Laws. We do not accept liability for any item(s) seized by customs due to any law or regulation prohibiting the item(s) into the country.
3. Return Policy
Any item(s) that you believe to be unsatisfactory will be replaced or refunded upon your request, as long as you you return the goods to us within 10 business days of having received your order. We strongly recommend inspecting your products immediately, to ensure that you are completely satisfied. If for any reason you receive a product that you feel does not meet the French Living high quality standards, please contact us the same day you received the shipment, and we will be more than happy to resolve the issue.
4. Cancelling an Order
Please Modify or Cancel before 9:00 a.m on the day of despatch. Orders cannot be cancelled once your order has been despatched. If we are able to cancel your order but have processed payment there will be a cancellation charge.
5. Privacy Guarantee
We know how important your privacy is to you, so rest assured, French Living will not share any of your personal information with any third party without your consent.
6. Credit Card Security Guarantee
French Living utilises industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to allow for the encryption of critically sensitive information like your credit card details. Information passed between your computer and our Website cannot be read in the event someone else intercepts it.
7. The contract between us
We must receive payment of the whole of the price for the goods that you order before your order can be accepted. Once payment has been received by us we will confirm that your order has been accepted by sending an email to you at the email address you provide in your order form (please note non-UK deliveries postage and packaging cost will need to be confirmed by us to you and accepted by you before we process payment). Our acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us.
8. Our right to refuse your order
We reserve the right to refuse to accept your order for any reason including, without limitation and whether or not payment has been received by us, if:
8.1 we have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered;
8.2 we do not deliver to your area; or
8.3 one or more of the goods you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in the pricing information received by us from our suppliers.
If we do refuse your order we will notify you by email and will re-credit to your account any sum deducted by us from your credit card as soon as possible but in any event within 30 days of your order. We will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.
9. Hampers and Gift Baskets
Photographs of baskets and gift hampers are non contractual. We reserve the right to replace baskets displayed on our website with similar baskets.
10. Force Majeure
Whilst every effort will be made to meet customers' demands, cancellations or variations may be necessary as a result of an Act of God, War, Strike, Lockout, Labour Dispute, Fire, Flood, Drought or other cause beyond the control of the French Living
